Established in 2002, Migration Expert is a private immigration company with a team of highly experienced migration consultants for Canada, the UK and Australia clients from across the globe wishing to apply for a UK visa. Migration Expert provides fee-based services in addition to the official government charges to advise, assist and represent our clients through the often-complex visa application process. All decisions for granting of a visa remain with the UK Government subject to lodging a valid application using the free forms available on the Government website and meeting the relevant criteria. Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC)

Locations:

Toronto, Canada

Candidates must be registered with ICCRC/CRCIC and have at least 3 years of experience in providing advice and assistance to foreign nationals seeking temporary and permanent status in Canada. Candidates must be able to legally work in the applicable country.


General Requirements:

Successful candidates should have up-to-date knowledge of all aspects of immigration law for the nominated position, and be able to deal with a busy caseload. IT skills, such as experience with the Microsoft Office suite, are essential.

Experience in an online environment and knowledge of internet business will be considered an asset.

The candidate must promote the interests of clients and the company at all times, and be able to work harmoniously with others.

As well as a detailed knowledge of immigration law, ideal candidates should also have knowledge of related fields. These can include human rights, welfare benefits, and employment law in relation to work and business visas.

Experience Required:

Candidates should have hands-on experience in all aspects of immigration law, including skilled visas, business and family visas, temporary work permits and study permits.

The candidate will be expected to handle a substantial caseload and supervise support staff, as requested by the company.


The candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:

An ability to comply with the company's standards for quality and case management.

Compliance with the requirements set out by your provincial/state law society or bar.

An ability to manage casework and deal with the day-to-day client management issues.

An ability to produce high-quality work under pressure.

Ability to prioritise tasks; deal with competing demands, and self-manage day-to-day activities.

An ability to deal impartially and courteously with clients from different cultural backgrounds and with varying English skills.
