Provided certain criteria are met, a Non-EEA National working for an EU employer are generally allowed to provide services in the UK without the need to obtain a work permit. This means that established non-EEA employees of an EU company in the EU may come to the UK to provide a service on behalf of the relevant company without a work permit, if they meet the relevant conditions. Entry clearance is mandatory for both visa and non-visa nationals.
Certain requirements for employees include that they are lawfully resident in the EU Member State in which the employer is established and that they are lawfully and habitually employed by an employer who is temporarily providing a service in the UK, that they do not intend to take any other employment; and that they intend to leave the UK at the end of the period during which their employer is providing the service.
Applicants who are granted entry as a Non-EEA National Visa are allowed to live and work in the UK for as long as the employer requires their services. There is no processing fee for this visa.
Applicants can include their dependants on this extension if they’re already in the UK, and include their partner and children and applicants can switch into this category from another visa.
