AUSTRALIAN MIGRATION CONSULTANT

We are looking for an Australian Registered Migration Consultant to take up a key position within our team with plenty of opportunity for further growth.

Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in providing immigration advice for people seeking to settle in Australia. Candidates must demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of Australian immigration law and provide evidence of current registration with MARA.

General Requirements:

The successful candidate should be enthusiastic about professional growth, able to learn new skills quickly, work well in a team environment, and be comfortable working within a dynamic and fast-paced business.

Successful candidates should have up-to-date knowledge of all aspects of immigration law for the nominated position, and be able to deal with a busy caseload. IT skills, such as experience with the Microsoft Office suite, are essential.

Experience in an online environment and knowledge of internet business will be considered an asset.

The candidate must promote the interests of clients and the company at all times, and be able to work harmoniously with others.

As well as a detailed knowledge of immigration law, ideal candidates should also have knowledge of related fields. These can include human rights, welfare benefits, and employment law in relation to work and business visas.

Experience Required:

Candidates should have hands-on experience in all aspects of immigration law, including skilled visas, business and family visas, temporary work permits and study permits.

The candidate will be expected to handle a substantial caseload and supervise support staff as required.

Flexibility and an enthusiasm for work are requirements, as is a positive attitude towards client service and learning new skills.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:

Compliance with the requirements set out by your provincial/state law society or bar.

An ability to manage casework and deal with the day-to-day client management issues.

An ability to produce high-quality work under pressure.

Ability to prioritise tasks; deal with competing demands, and self-manage day-to-day activities.

An ability to deal impartially and courteously with clients from different cultural backgrounds and with varying English skills.

Enthusiasm for work, ambition, and a willingness to exceed minimum work requirements - to go the extra mile for both clients and the company.
