Priority Service for UK Student Visa Applicants from MalaysiaWednesday, 18 July 2012
A priority service for UK Tier 4 Visa applicants has been launched in Malaysia on 17 July 2012, according to a recent announcement from the UK Border Agency. As stated in the announcement, the UKBA is extending the priority visa service by allowing Malaysian students to apply for a Tier 4 visa to study at a UK Higher Education Institution. Using the priority visa service, applicants will have their visa application processed ahead of others and within 3-4 working days. This service is optional, and available for an additional fee of 392 Malaysian ringgits. Applicants must pay the fee in cash when submitting their UK visa application. The priority service does not imply or guarantee that the visa application will be successful. All visa applicants must meet the requirements of the UK immigration rules. The amount paid for the priority service, as well as the visa application fee, is not refundable if the visa application is refused or if, in exceptional cases, takes longer to process.
