UK Visitor Visas
UK Tourist Visa
A UK Tourist visa is for individuals who wish to travel to the UK to experience its culture and landscape. Visitors to the UK will need a tourist visa depending on their nationality, the purpose of visit, the duration of visit and their character record.
Visitors to the UK who have a specific purpose for travelling to the UK may be required to apply for one of the many other specific visitor visas, such as a business visitor visa, student visitor visa or marriage visitor visa.
Tourist Visa Requirements
To qualify for a Tourist visa, applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be visiting the UK for leisure.
Tourist visa applicants must intend to visit the UK for no more than 6 months and show that they have enough money for their stay in the UK and their return or onward journey.
Tourist visa applicants may also be required to meet certain health and character requirements.
Tourist Visa Entitlements
A Tourist visa entitles the holder to travel within the UK. A Tourist visa is usually granted for a maximum of 6 months and holders are expected to leave the UK at the end of their permission to stay.
